Licensed and Insured

At Full Scale Security Services, all our guards are active or former Law Enforcement or Military Personnel with minimum 10 years’ experience in the field. In addition to the strict training our team has gone through, we are fully licensed and insured to give you peace of mind. When you engage our services, you can ask to take a look at any of our documents, which will be made available upon request.

In order to practice as a security guard, a valid security license must be obtained. Although requirements can vary by state, the most basic ones are:

• Be 18 years and above
• Have no previous convictions or record of felonies
• Of sound mind
• Hold a minimum of a high school diploma
• Complete and submit an application
   

In addition, candidates will need to complete any combination of the following according to state requirements:

• A fixed number of classroom hours
• A fixed number of on-the-job training hours 
• Pass written examinations
   

At Full Scale Security Services, all our guards have valid security licenses. We work with guards who were or are military personnel to obtain their licenses before they can start working with us.

Working in security comes with its own set of risks. Security guards can be thrust into dangerous situations and without proper insurance coverage, this cost can destroy their careers or be passed on to the customer. At Full Scale Security Services, we are fully insured against all possibilities, therefore you can be assured there is no risk of that happening. Although our guards specialize in a range of services from protecting people and communities to properties, we are covered under the basic insurance policies and more. These include:

• Professional liability insurance: As professional and experienced as our guards are, sometimes mistakes can occur due to several reasons. This can range from faulty eyewitness accounts to inaccurate advice being given. Our guards are protected under professional liability insurance when such situations occur.
   
• Auto insurance: We have a large fleet of vehicles available for our guards’ use on the job. To protect them and third-party drivers, we have a comprehensive automobile insurance policy that covers accidents, collisions, and many more.
   
• Property insurance: When a guard is assigned to protect a site or property, damage can still be caused when accidents occur. An example of this would be a situation that is on too large a scale for a single guard to control. When this happens, damage to the property is covered under our insurance policy.
